Dear Sirs/Madams; I have suffered from arthritis since birth and was diagnosed of fibromyalgia about 8 years ago. I have bulging discs in my back and according to recent exrays my hips are going out, but I have no insurance to get proper pain medication. I filed a workers compensation case in December 2009 after a fall that exacerbated these conditions, but I am still waiting for treatment and payment as there has been no payment issued and the case is in litigation. I have been living on unemployment, but that too is about to run out as I am on my last extension. The extension ends next month, January, 2012.
I get little to no sleep on a nightly basis as I am in a great deal of pain, and the mattress on my bed is a very thin wire spring mattress and extremely firm - it's just a step above from sleeping on a hard floor. My condition is not going to get better only worse as I continue to age.
I recently heard that someone in my county received a grant to purchase a high quality mattress for her condition - stage 4 bone cancer - but I do not know anything about who she made the request to, who the grantor was or her financial status. I am seeking a grantor that could provide me enough of a grant or very low interest long-term loan to purchase a high quality mattress to aid in reducing pain, so that I can get some sleep and benefit from better quality of life.
If anyone has any information about who I may contact for this help, please contact me. Thank you, and God Bless.
